उज्जैन महाकाल कोरीडोर पहुंचने के उपाय
उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर स्थित महाकाल कोरीडोर जाना बहुत सरल है। उज्जैन रेलवे स्टेशन से महाकाल कोरीडोर की दूरी लगभग 04 किलोमीटर है। उज्जैन रेलवे स्टेशन से महकाल लोक अथवा महाकाल कोरीडोर तक जाने के लिए सभी प्रकार के वाहन उपलब्ध होते है। जो भी श्रद्धालु रेल की यात्रा कर उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर के दर्शन के लिए आते है। वे उज्जैन के मुख्य रेलवे स्टेशन से ऑटो रिक्शा से या फिर ई-रिक्शा से या फिर निजी टैक्सी से या फिर सार्वजनिक वाहन आदि माध्यमों के द्वारा महाकालेश्वर मंदिर तक 20 से 25 मिनट में पहुंच सकते है। सभी प्रकार के वाहनों का किराया न्यूनतम होता है। उज्जैन नगर रेल मार्ग के द्वारा सम्पूर्ण भारत से जुड़ा हुआ है। उज्जैन के आसपास के मुख्य रेलवे स्टेशनों को देखा जाए तो हम पांएगे कि बड़े रेलवे स्टेशनों में उज्जैन के पूर्व में भोपाल रेलवे स्टेशन स्थित है। जिसकी उज्जैन से दूरी 300 किलोमीटर है, जिसकी यात्रा में लगभग औसत 3 घण्टे 30 मिनट का समय लगता है। भोपाल रेलवे स्टेशन से देशभर में जाने वाली लगभग सभी बड़ी रेल गुजरती है। भोपाल से उज्जैन की यात्रा के लिए प्रत्येक तीन घण्टे के अंतराल पर एक रेलगाड़ी अवश्य उपलब्ध रहती है।
इसके अलावा उज्जैन से मक्सी के रास्ते होते हुए शाजापुर की ओर से बीना के रास्ते से भी रेलगाड़ी की यात्रा की जा सकती है। यह रेल लाईन उज्जैन को भारत के उत्तरी भाग से जोड़ने का काम करती है। उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर जाने के लिए उज्जैन के पश्चिम की ओर से भी रेल लाईन उज्जैन को बाकी भारत से जोड़ती है। रतलाम एवं नागदा से उज्जैन की ओर आने वाली रेल लाईन उत्तर में जम्मू-कश्मीर, पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, राजस्थान से लेकर से लेकर दक्षिण में महाराष्ट्र, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, केरेला तक उज्जैन को सीधे जोड़ती है। इंदौर से चलकर उज्जैन से होते हुए अनेक रेल गाड़ियां उज्जैन को भारत के विभिन्न शहरों से जोड़ते हुए पूर्व में नेपाल की सीमा तक जाती है। महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में बने महाकाल कोरीडोर को देखने के लिए भारत के किसी भी कोने से रेल मार्ग के द्वारा सरलता से पहुंचा जा सकता है। भारत के विभिन्न भागों से उज्जैन की रेलयात्रा को 04 से 36 घण्टे में पूरा किया जा सकता है।
उज्जैन रेल मार्ग के साथ ही सड़क मार्ग से भी भारत के सभी बड़े शहरों से सीधे जुड़ा हुआ है। उज्जैन के पूर्व में 40 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर देवास शहर स्थित है जहां से आगरा-मुंबई राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग गुजर रहा है। जो उज्जैन को भारत के उत्तर से पश्चिमी भाग से जोड़ता है। इसके अलावा उज्जैन के उत्तर में 60 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर आगर शहर स्थित है जहां राजस्थान के झालावाड़ से होते हुए जयपुर तक की यात्रा की जा सकती है। इसी के साथ उज्जैन के पश्चिम की ओर से रतलाम के रास्ते मंदसौर नीमज होते हुए गुजरात तक सड़क मार्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है। इसी के साथ इंदौर के रास्ते खंडवा के आगे महाराष्ट्र तक उज्जैन दक्षिण के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से सीधे जुड़ा हुआ है। उज्जैन, भारत के अनेकों स्थान से सड़क मार्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है। जिसके द्वारा भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले महाकाल के भक्त महाकालेश्वर मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए आ सकते है। तथा महाकाल बाबा के दर्शन कर स्वयं को आनंदित कर सकते है।
उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर तक केवल रेल मार्ग अथवा सड़क मार्ग से ही नहीं पहुंचा जा सकता है। अपितु उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर तक वायु मार्ग से पहुंकर भी बाबा महाकाल के दर्शन का आनंद लिया जा सकता है। उज्जैन के निकट इंदौर शहर में एअरपोर्ट स्थित है। जो कि वायु मार्ग के द्वारा भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से जुड़ा हुआ है। इंदौर के एअरपोर्ट से उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर तक की सड़क मार्ग से यात्रा में केवल 40 से 45 मिनट का समय लगता है। इंदौर के अतिरिक्त भोपाल में भी एअरपोर्ट स्थित है। जो कि उज्जैन में महाकालेश्वर मंदिर दर्शन के लिए आगने वाले विदेशी दर्शनार्थियों के लिए उपयुक्त स्थान होता है। इंदौर एवं भोपाल शहर से अंतर्देशीय उडा़नो के साथ साथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय भी उड़ानों का परिचालन भी किया जाता है।
भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से रेल, सड़क एवं वायु मार्ग से बाबा महाकाल के दर्शन के लिए आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को अब उज्जैन मे महाकालेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग के साथ-साथ महाकाल लोक के दर्शन का भी अवसर मिल सकेगा। महाकालेश्वर मंदिर के पश्चिम की ओर महाकाल कोरीडोर का निर्माण किया गया है। जिसकी लम्बाई 900 मीटर से अधिक है। महाकाल कोरीडोर में विशाल गलियारे का निर्माण किया गया है। महाकाल कोरीडोर के गलियारे की दिवार पर विभिन्न भित्तिचित्रों का निर्माण किया गया है। महाकाल कोरीडोर का निर्माण राजस्थान के लाल पत्थरों से हुआ है। महाकाल कोरीडोर की लम्बाई बनारस के काशी कोरीडोर से तीन गुना अधिक है। महाकाल मंदिर के पश्चिम दिशा की ओर रूद्र सागर के आसपास महाकाल कोरीडोर का निर्माण किया गया है।
महाकाल कोरीडोर में 199 मूर्तियों को स्थापित किया गया है। जो शिवमहापुराण के विभिन्न प्रसंगों को दर्शाने का काम कर रही है। महाकाल कोरीडोर में भारत का पहला नाईड गार्डन भी बनाया गया है। सूर्यास्त के बाद इस नाईट गार्डन की सुंदरता देखते बनती है। महाकाल कोरीडोर में रक्षासूत्रों से निर्मित एक विशाल शिवलिंग स्थापित किया गया है। रक्षासूत्रों से बना विशाल शिवलिंग नंदी द्वार के मध्य स्थित है। महाकाल कोरीडोर का एक छोर महाकाल मंदिर से लगा हुआ है तो वही दूसरा छोर नंदी द्वार पर स्थित है। नंदी द्वार से एक बार में लगभग 30 हजार से अधिक श्रद्धालु महाकाल कोरीडोर में प्रवेश कर सकते है।

How to reach Mahakal Corridor
It is very easy to go to Mahakal Corridor located at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. The distance of Mahakal Corridor from Ujjain Railway Station is approx 04 Kms. All types of vehicles are available from Ujjain railway station to Mahakal Lok or Mahakal Corridor. The devotees who travel by train come to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain.
